We’ve been working hard over the past month, implementing some neat features that we hope will make myPaymail shine. We’re almost there, and today we’re happy to announce that the beta version of myPaymail already has a release date: 3rd April 2020. While we wind up the work on our end, here a few things that we wanted to share with you.
What can I expect?
To get started with myPaymail you’ll only need one thing: a Money Button account. When you first log in, a unique Paymail handle will be created, which will redirect payments to your Money Button wallet. From there, the sky is the limit. You’ll be able to add new Paymail handles, modify existing ones and delete those that are no longer relevant. Or if unsure about deleting them, you can choose to disable them temporarily.
When creating new handles, you have two choices: add a new alias for @mypaymail.co, or set up a custom handle altogether. If you opt for creating a custom handle, you’ll need to own a domain and use a DNS provider that supports DNSSEC. And if you’re worried about having to configure your DNS records, we may have a surprise on the way…
By now you’re probably wondering how we’re going to make money. Things will be straightforward here too: no commissions, no monthly payments. Instead, every action will have a very small cost assigned.
